Dr. Aslam started his career as an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Minnesota Medical School and maintains a passion for guiding others that is clear in his interactions with his patients and his mentorship of students and colleagues. He is a compassionate mental health practitioner who is dedicated to his patients and his work, overseeing clinical trials for research on new psychiatric medications, unraveling the potential causes of his patients’ ailments, and figuring out the best treatment options for his patients in collaboration with their feedback.

Dr. Aslam has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mood, anxiety, trauma, behavioral, thought, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. He currently works at a non-profit organization and a research center in addition to working at APC. He has received Vitals Patient’s Choice award in the past and also previously received FL TopDocs Top Doctor award multiple years in a row.
